DESCRIPTION:The Dalmatians are taking rock music back to its folk future! Jonny and Wil mix acoustic guitar grooves with classic rock and pop riffs\, with a shameless Australian influence. As a covers band The Dalmatians celebrate the best of Aussie pub and folk rock including Goyte\, 5SOS\, Powder Finger\, Silverchair\, Paul Kelly\, Pete Murray\, Crowded House\, Hunters & Collectors\, INX\, AC/DC\, The Church\, The Angles\, The Sunny Boys\, Goanna and Gangajang.\nThe Dalmatians burst on the scene as an originals band in 2019 as runners up in the Gundaroo Emerging Musos Festival. As part of the lead up promotion\, their single Its Only Money was played on ABC Drive. In February 2021 The Dalmatians supported Steve Kilbey (of The Church) at the Belconnen Arts centre’s launch of their new auditorium. Since then the duo have played their originals regularly at venues such as The Basement\, Blackbird Bar\, Smiths Alternative\, The Front\, Casey Jones Pub\, and other Canberra venues\, including their own Fabulous Folk Rock Frenzy events involving like-minded critters.\nA Dalmatians show provides relentless driven grooves\, catchy licks\, great story telling and lush harmonies. The shows often include the sweet voice of Amelie from The Two Peas.
