Two titles will be on the line in another highly anticipated UFC event. In the event’s headliner, 185-pound champion Israel Adesanya will return to the octagon to defend his middleweight title against Jared Cannonier. Adesanya joined UFC in 2018 and has achieved an incredible record of 11-1. He defeated Kevin Gastelum in 2019 to become the interim middleweight champion and then Robert Whittaker in the same year for the actual title. Cannonier currently holds a record of 8-5 and is on a two-fight winning streak.
In the co-headliner event, featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski will look to go 3-0 when he defends his title against Max Holloway in a rematch that’s not to be missed. Volkanovski defeated Holloway at UFC 245 in 2019 for the featherweight title and then again at UFC 251 in 2020.
Rounding out UFC 276’s main card is a middleweight bout between Sean Strickland and Alex Pereira, a flyweight bout between Lauren Murphy and Miesha Tate, and a bantamweight bout between Pedro Munhoz and Sean O’Malley.
