Burns Golf Club Belconnen welcomes non-members who would like a round on a challenging course. The course can also be hired for social events, corporate days and more. The course is not available when members’ competitions are being played.
Visiting members of Golf Clubs affiliated with Golf Australia who have an official handicap can play in the regular competitions run by Burns Golf Club Belconnen subject to tee-off times being available, meeting our bona fide visitor policy and at the discretion of the Committee and/or Pro-Shop staff. Any such players must pay the appropriate green fees and the applicable competition fees to enter. Visitors are eligible to win the voucher prizes and balls (e.g. for nearest the pin) but will not be eligible for trophies or monthly medals.
Visitors may play socially in our competitions at any time upon payment of the appropriate green fee and subject to tee-time availability, at the discretion of the Committee and/or Pro-Shop staff.
GOLF COMPETITIONS
Below is our Golf Competition program. If you’re interested in playing in these competitions you will need to be a valid Golf Link Member and login to your members portal. Or alternatively, you can call the Pro Shop on (02) 6133 9606.
For the Vets Competition held on Tuesdays, bookings can only be made either in person or over the phone.
APRIL
Wednesday 1st: Medley Stableford.
Friday 3rd: Medley Stableford – Easter Cup.
Saturday 4th: Medley Stableford – Easter Cup.
Sunday 5th: Medley Stableford – Easter Cup.
Monday 6th: Medley Stabelford – Easter Cup.
Tuesday 7th: Women Stableford, Vets Competition.
Wednesday 8th: Medley 2 Person Ambrose.
Saturday 11th: Men Stroke – Monthly Medal, 3rd Round Eclectic, and Women Stroke – Monthly Medal, GNSW Medal, VWGA Country Championships.
Sunday 12th: Medley Stableford, and Women’s CSGA District Pennants – Brindabella Shield.
Tuesday 14th: Women Stroke – Monthly Meda, GNSW Medal, VWGA Country Championships, and Vets Competition.
Wednesday 15th: Medley Stableford SPOTY.
Saturday 18th: Medley Stableford, and Women 4BBB Stableford – NSW Bowl.
Sunday 19th: Medley Stableford.
Tuesday 21st: Women 4BBB Stableford – NSW Bowl, and Vets Competition.
Wednesday 22nd: Medley Stableford.
Saturday 25th: Medley Stableford (ANZAC DAY), and Women Stableford.
Sunday 26th: Medley Stableford.
Monday 27th: Medley Stableford (ANZAC Day Public Holiday).
Tuesday 28th: Women Stableford, and Vets Competition.
Wednesday 29th: Medley Stableford.
